Decoys straddle two categories: folk art and wildfowl carvings. We have separated them into their own category because of a strong decoy collecting base and the emerging interest by collectors of American Folk Art.

While early folk art pioneers like Adele Earnest showed consistent focus inclusive of decoys, many folk art collections have not embraced them. This is changing as interest in the folk art collecting circles increases every year.
